Four 17 ml jars of AK Interactive 3rd Generation acrylics for painting WWII Soviet pilot figures. Rather than a single three-tone ladder, the box holds two pairs for the different clothing Soviet pilots wore: Russian Base and Russian Lights for the green uniform, and Flight Suit Brown with Leather Suit Brown Shadows for the brown flight suit — only that flight-suit pair carries the label's base to shadow ladder. Matt finish, ready for the brush, and thinnable with water or AK11500 for airbrush use.

Set contains (4 × 17 ml): AK11430 Russian Base, AK11429 Russian Lights, AK11112 Leather Suit Brown Shadows (Grim Brown) and AK11125 Flight Suit Brown (Grey-Brown)

What's the difference between a paint and a wash?

Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.

Can I use these paints in an airbrush?

Do I need a primer?
