Four 3rd Generation acrylic colours for the aircraft flown by RAF units subordinated to SEAC — South-East Asia Command — during World War II. AK pairs them by role: RAF Dark Green and RAF Dark Earth are the upper-surface colours, with RAF Azure Blue and RAF Medium Sea Grey for the undersides. All four also sit inside the WWII RAF Aircraft Colors master set (AK11723), so this is the box to choose when the South-East Asia theatre is the whole project rather than one part of it.
- Set contains (4 × 17 ml): AK11840 RAF Dark Green, AK11841 RAF Dark Earth, AK11843 RAF Medium Sea Grey, AK11845 RAF Azure Blue
- Matt finish — AK's 3rd Generation range is recognised for its high pigmentation and matte finish
- Acrylic colours for brush; for airbrush, dilute with water or AK11500 thinner
- Two of the four also appear in neighbouring RAF boxes: Dark Green and Medium Sea Grey in AK11725 Day Fighter Scheme, Dark Earth and Azure Blue in AK11726 Aircraft Desert Colors

What's the difference between a paint and a wash?
Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.
Can I use these paints in an airbrush?
Many acrylics can be thinned for airbrushing — check the product description; ranges marked "Air" or "airbrush-ready" work straight from the bottle.
Do I need a primer?
Yes for bare plastic, resin or metal — primer gives paint a surface to grip and prevents chipping.
