Eight matt acrylics for the combat aircraft and helicopters flown by the US Navy and Marine Corps from the early 1980s until today. The selection includes five camouflage colours for the so-called Tactical Paint Schemes, the FS 36170 colour applied to the F-35 Lightning II fleet, and the FS 33613 applied to radomes and other areas. The box covers fixed-wing types and helicopters alike — the breadth is in the name.

What's the difference between a paint and a wash?
Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.
Can I use these paints in an airbrush?
Many acrylics can be thinned for airbrushing — check the product description; ranges marked "Air" or "airbrush-ready" work straight from the bottle.
Do I need a primer?
Yes for bare plastic, resin or metal — primer gives paint a surface to grip and prevents chipping.
