Four matt acrylics selected for painting figures of modern US pilots — a Figures-series set, not an aircraft one. Three tones are intended for finishing the uniform, and the packaging arranges them as a shadow → base → light ladder; the fourth jar is a specific colour suitable for detailing the harness. AK assigns the roles on the label itself.

What's the difference between a paint and a wash?
Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.
Can I use these paints in an airbrush?
Many acrylics can be thinned for airbrushing — check the product description; ranges marked "Air" or "airbrush-ready" work straight from the bottle.
Do I need a primer?
Yes for bare plastic, resin or metal — primer gives paint a surface to grip and prevents chipping.
