Priming comes first when using AK456 True Metal Dark Aluminium, a 20 ml metallic paint made with a wax base. The prepared surface can receive the colour by several published methods, and the coating may be polished after drying to bring out the metallic result. Complete drying is expected after 48 hours.

  • A paintbrush is one manual option; a fingertip or cotton swab may also be used.
  • For spraying, reduce the consistency with white spirit before filling the airbrush.
  • The finished application can accept an acrylic varnish.
  • Made in Spain.

What's the difference between a paint and a wash?
