AK Interactive WWII Soviet Tank Colors is the six-colour 3GEN acrylic set for Soviet vehicles from the interwar period through the Second World War. It covers Protective Green and 3B AU/ZB AU, the wartime 4BO base colour, the limited-use 6K and 7K disruptive colours, and washable white for winter finishes. It contains the complete three-colour core of AK11665 and adds the earlier greens plus the winter treatment.
- Set contains (6 × 17 ml): AK11368 Russian Green 4BO, AK11369 Russian Dark Brown 6K, AK11370 Russian Sand 7K, AK11387 3B AU/ZB AU, AK11371 Protective Green 1920s-1930s, AK11372 Washable White Paint
- Green 4BO entered mass production in 1940 and became the standard Soviet vehicle colour for the rest of the war
- Dark Brown 6K and Sand 7K were disruptive colours of limited use; Washable White was commonly applied in winter
- All six colours are matt and non-metallic
- Acrylic colours for brush; for airbrush, dilute with water or AK11500 thinner

What's the difference between a paint and a wash?
Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.
Can I use these paints in an airbrush?
Many acrylics can be thinned for airbrushing — check the product description; ranges marked "Air" or "airbrush-ready" work straight from the bottle.
Do I need a primer?
Yes for bare plastic, resin or metal — primer gives paint a surface to grip and prevents chipping.
