AK Interactive Real Colors WWII RAF Temperate Land Scheme contains four lacquer paints for British aircraft using the principal land camouflage of the early Second World War. RAF Dark Green and RAF Dark Earth cover the standard upper surfaces. RAF Sky was used beneath day aircraft, while RAF Night was applied to the undersides of night bombers. The selection is intended for modellers painting both fighter and bomber variations of the scheme.
- Set contains (4 × 17 ml): RC960 RAF Dark Green, RC961 RAF Dark Earth, RC964 RAF Sky, RC888 RAF Night (NATO Black)
- Lacquer-based Real Colors with a soft matt finish, ready for weathering
- Dark Green / Dark Earth upper surfaces; Sky (day) and RAF Night (night-bomber) undersides
- Formulated for airbrush application; thin with RC701 or RC702 (or another lacquer-based thinner)

What's the difference between a paint and a wash?
Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.
Can I use these paints in an airbrush?
Many acrylics can be thinned for airbrushing — check the product description; ranges marked "Air" or "airbrush-ready" work straight from the bottle.
Do I need a primer?
Yes for bare plastic, resin or metal — primer gives paint a surface to grip and prevents chipping.
