AK Interactive Real Colors WWII Luftwaffe Late War Colors contains six lacquer paints for German aircraft manufactured from approximately late summer 1944 until the end of the war. The selection includes two RLM 76 underside variants and two RLM 81 upper-surface variants, reflecting approved tonal alternatives used during the period. RLM 82 completes the exterior camouflage selection, while RLM 66 covers interiors. The paints are formulated for smooth airbrush application and controlled thin layers.

What's the difference between a paint and a wash?

Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.

Can I use these paints in an airbrush?

Many acrylics can be thinned for airbrushing — check the product description; ranges marked "Air" or "airbrush-ready" work straight from the bottle.

Do I need a primer?

Yes for bare plastic, resin or metal — primer gives paint a surface to grip and prevents chipping.
