AK Interactive Real Colors US Air Force & ANG Modern Aircraft Colors contains eight lacquer paints for USAF and Air National Guard aircraft from the late 1970s onwards. The selection covers Air Superiority Blue and the greys used in Compass Ghost, Hill Grey, Have Glass, Mod Eagle and related low-visibility schemes. It is intended for modern fighters, attack aircraft and bombers carrying these colour standards.

What's the difference between a paint and a wash?
Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.
Can I use these paints in an airbrush?
Many acrylics can be thinned for airbrushing — check the product description; ranges marked "Air" or "airbrush-ready" work straight from the bottle.
Do I need a primer?
Yes for bare plastic, resin or metal — primer gives paint a surface to grip and prevents chipping.
