AK048 Pigment Fixer is a 35 ml enamel fluid for securing loose weathering pigment on models and bases. The liquid is introduced over the powder and allowed to spread by capillary action. After it has dried, the pigment remains permanently adhered and returns to its dry colour.
Arrange the powder on the intended surface before adding the fixer.
Feed small amounts onto the pigment and let the fluid wick through naturally.
Expect the wetted colour to change temporarily during application.
The original dry appearance returns once the fixing liquid has dried.

Notes · Q & A
What's the difference between a paint and a wash?+
Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.
Can I use these paints in an airbrush?+
Many acrylics can be thinned for airbrushing — check the product description; ranges marked "Air" or "airbrush-ready" work straight from the bottle.
Do I need a primer?+
Yes for bare plastic, resin or metal — primer gives paint a surface to grip and prevents chipping.
