Light Rust is an ultrafine dry pigment listed for AFV and military subjects. Use it loose for a light, matt dusting or combine it with other textures and modelling products when you want a built-up effect. The powder remains controllable while you work, but its naturally low adhesion means a lasting finish needs to be fixed.
Wet the pigment down using Pigment Fixer, or use White Spirit instead.
After applying it dry, add either product to secure the result.
Different colours from the dry pigment range can be mixed together.
One black screw-top jar supplies 35 ml.

Notes · Q & A
What's the difference between a paint and a wash?+
Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.
Can I use these paints in an airbrush?+
Many acrylics can be thinned for airbrushing — check the product description; ranges marked "Air" or "airbrush-ready" work straight from the bottle.
Do I need a primer?+
Yes for bare plastic, resin or metal — primer gives paint a surface to grip and prevents chipping.
