Light Rust Dust is a light reddish-brown enamel liquid pigment for rust building up on vehicles and across derelict, abandoned worlds. Being a liquid pigment in an enamel carrier, not a powder, it brushes on at full strength and sets by itself once dry — self-fixing, with no separate fixer over the top.
Use White Spirit to let it down, to run one rust tone into another while wet, and to re-open a dry area for reworking.
It comes up matt and powder-dry, so the rust reads as dusty oxidation rather than a wet stain.
Powder pigments can follow on top for extra tooth and depth.

Notes · Q & A
What's the difference between a paint and a wash?+
Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.
Can I use these paints in an airbrush?+
Many acrylics can be thinned for airbrushing — check the product description; ranges marked "Air" or "airbrush-ready" work straight from the bottle.
Do I need a primer?+
Yes for bare plastic, resin or metal — primer gives paint a surface to grip and prevents chipping.
