Product overview

The Harvey Frost crane gives AK35014 its working identity: a 1:35 Land Rover 88 Series IIA configured as a civilian pick-up and recovery vehicle. Based on the mid-1960s short-wheelbase model, it carries a simple front bumper, side-mounted fuel cap and horizontal side and indicator lamps. The crane installation is modelled alongside the vehicle's engine and cab, making the recovery equipment part of the build rather than an external accessory.

The kit comprises more than 230 plastic parts.
Rubber tyres and a photo-etched detail fret are supplied.
Left- and right-hand-drive assembly options are provided.
The Cartograf decal sheet covers three painting and marking schemes.
