AK Interactive German Standard Colors 37-43 contains the three basic camouflage colours used for painting German army vehicles in the 1937-43 period. AK notes that RAL 7017 Dunkelbraun and RAL 7021 Dunkelgrau were the standard camouflage colours in 1937-40, and that from 1940 until the spring of 1943 Dunkelgrau was used as a single camouflage colour. The Washable White Paint reproduces the white camouflage German forces in the East began applying during the winter of 1941-42.

What's the difference between a paint and a wash?
Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.
Can I use these paints in an airbrush?

Do I need a primer?
