Product overview
Dust is an acrylic weathering gouache for dusting vehicles and scenery of every kind. Despite the name, the shade is a pale, desaturated greenish-grey off-white rather than a brown or tan, which is what makes it read as fine settled dust over darker paint. The 20 ml tube holds a water-based, opaque colour that dries matt and reactivates under tap water, so a dusty haze can be built, softened or lifted at any point.

What's the difference between a paint and a wash?
Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.
Can I use these paints in an airbrush?
Many acrylics can be thinned for airbrushing — check the product description; ranges marked "Air" or "airbrush-ready" work straight from the bottle.
Do I need a primer?
Yes for bare plastic, resin or metal — primer gives paint a surface to grip and prevents chipping.
