A six-bottle 3rd Generation acrylic set from AK Interactive's Figure Series for the tropical uniforms of the German Army in Africa and Sicily in WW2 — the Deutsche Afrika Korps (DAK), as AK names it. Two ladders are printed: the sand uniform — DAK Desert Uniform Shadows (Dark Brown), DAK Desert Uniform Base, DAK Desert Uniform Lights (Tan Yellow) — and the green uniform, shadow Extra Dark Green, base Green Uniform Base, light Light Green Uniform. AK notes the colours can be mixed for further shades, as the uniforms could vary by origin. Six matt acrylics in 17 ml bottles.

What's the difference between a paint and a wash?

Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.

Can I use these paints in an airbrush?
