AK Interactive Bundeswehr Desert Camouflage Colors is a three-paint 3GEN acrylic set for modern German vehicles in desert environments — AK cites the German ISAF contingent in Afghanistan. It holds the three camouflage colours AK identifies as the most commonly used on those vehicles: RAL 8031 F9 Sandbraun, RAL 1039 F9 Sandbeige and RAL 6040 F9 Helloliv. The same three paints make up the last three bottles of the larger Iraq & Afghanistan set (AK11655), so this is the focused box when only Bundeswehr subjects are involved.

What's the difference between a paint and a wash?
Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.
Can I use these paints in an airbrush?
