VALST-SF001 is a 1/35 airbrush stencil of gear marks for adding mechanical graphics to industrial-fantasy dioramas. The cog-shaped designs suit robots, vehicles and scenery where the surface treatment calls for machinery-based symbols rather than lettering or a continuous texture. It is a paint stencil, not a transfer or decal. The translucent, flexible 125 × 125 mm plastic sheet can follow model surfaces, then be washed and reused.

Sprue cutters or a hobby knife — what do I actually need?

Cutters remove parts from the sprue cleanly; the knife trims the leftover nub and mould lines. You'll want both — they do different jobs.

Single-blade cutters shear against a flat anvil for an ultra-clean cut with less stress on the plastic; double-blade cutters are tougher for general work.
