VALST-AIR002 scales the weathered-paint texture for 1/72 aircraft, where surface variation needs a finer visual footprint. Sprue cutters or a hobby knife — what do I actually need?

Cutters remove parts from the sprue cleanly; the knife trims the leftover nub and mould lines. You'll want both — they do different jobs.
