Vallejo Metal Color Magnesium 77.711 is a light grey metallic colour formulated with aluminium pigments and a water-based acrylic vehicle. Its restrained metal tone distinguishes it from the brighter Chrome and warmer Copper colours in the range, making it suitable for magnesium-coloured components and varied metallic finishes on scale models. It is designed chiefly for airbrushing but remains usable by brush. The 32 ml formula dries quickly and levels as it settles on plastic or metal surfaces.
- Apply directly by airbrush or adjust with Vallejo Airbrush Thinner or Flow Improver.
- Recommended compressor pressure: 15–20 PSI / 0.5–1 kg.
- Vallejo Gloss Black Primer is recommended beneath aircraft finishes.
- Supplied in an eyedropper bottle with hinged cap and stirring ball.
- Allow the layer to stand for 12 hours before masking.

What's the difference between a paint and a wash?
Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.
Can I use these paints in an airbrush?
Many acrylics can be thinned for airbrushing — check the product description; ranges marked "Air" or "airbrush-ready" work straight from the bottle.
Do I need a primer?
Yes for bare plastic, resin or metal — primer gives paint a surface to grip and prevents chipping.
