Vallejo Wild Tuft Green SC406 provides 35 ready-to-use grass tufts in a general-purpose green, each standing 4mm tall in the Medium size range. The versatile colour works on meadow bases, grass verges, open countryside and mixed vegetation across tabletop terrain or dioramas. Individual pieces can be lifted from the blister backing and positioned to break up bare ground, or grouped around rocks and path edges for denser growth.
- The standard Green sits between Light Green and darker tones in the Vallejo Scenery range.
- Each tuft is self-adhesive on contact; PVA glue provides a firmer hold on rough surfaces.
- Suitable for miniature figures, wargame bases and scenic displays.

What do tuft sizes like 2mm, 4mm and 6mm mean?
That's the grass fibre length. 2mm suits small bases and subtle ground cover, 4–6mm reads as fuller vegetation on 28–32mm miniature bases.
Are tufts self-adhesive?
Most modern tufts peel off their sheet with adhesive on the underside — press onto the base, no glue needed. Loose static grass is applied over PVA instead.
How do I apply static grass?
Brush PVA where you want grass, sprinkle or use an applicator, then tip off the excess once dry. An applicator makes fibres stand upright for a more natural look.
