Vallejo Wild Tuft Light Brown SC418 provides 35 ready-to-place tufts at a height of 6mm. The Light Brown colouring suits dry earth, faded grass, field margins and vegetation around dusty roads or neglected structures. Individual pieces can break up bare ground without covering the underlying surface, while grouped tufts form larger patches of dry growth. Each piece lifts from the backing, and optional PVA glue strengthens the bond on heavily textured bases.

What do tuft sizes like 2mm, 4mm and 6mm mean?

That's the grass fibre length. 2mm suits small bases and subtle ground cover, 4–6mm reads as fuller vegetation on 28–32mm miniature bases.

Are tufts self-adhesive?

Most modern tufts peel off their sheet with adhesive on the underside — press onto the base, no glue needed. Loose static grass is applied over PVA instead.

How do I apply static grass?

Brush PVA where you want grass, sprinkle or use an applicator, then tip off the excess once dry. An applicator makes fibres stand upright for a more natural look.
