Vallejo Wild Tuft Brown SC411 provides 35 self-adhesive Medium tufts at 4mm height. Their deep Brown colouring and compact profile suit dried earth, scorched ground and sparse vegetation across arid terrain. Place individual pieces beside rocks, tracks or ruined structures, or combine several into irregular patches of dead grass. Each tuft lifts from the backing sheet for immediate use. Optional PVA glue can be applied when a stronger permanent bond is required.

What do tuft sizes like 2mm, 4mm and 6mm mean?
That's the grass fibre length. 2mm suits small bases and subtle ground cover, 4–6mm reads as fuller vegetation on 28–32mm miniature bases.
Are tufts self-adhesive?
Most modern tufts peel off their sheet with adhesive on the underside — press onto the base, no glue needed. Loose static grass is applied over PVA instead.
How do I apply static grass?
Brush PVA where you want grass, sprinkle or use an applicator, then tip off the excess once dry. An applicator makes fibres stand upright for a more natural look.
