Scale75 Shades of Doom SSE-019 is an eight-colour Fantasy & Games set built around dark fantasy schemes. Black and white anchor the palette, while cool greys, blue, green and red provide options for shadowed armour, cloth, creatures and atmospheric details. The 17 ml satin acrylics are formulated for resistance to handling on gaming figures and are suitable for brush and airbrush application.

What's the difference between a paint and a wash?

Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.

Can I use these paints in an airbrush?

Many acrylics can be thinned for airbrushing — check the product description; ranges marked "Air" or "airbrush-ready" work straight from the bottle.

Do I need a primer?

Yes for bare plastic, resin or metal — primer gives paint a surface to grip and prevents chipping.
