Scale75 Autumn Ground SAP-07 is a 100 ml acrylic texture paste from the Soilworks range, made for miniature bases and dioramas rather than use as conventional paint. Applied directly to the groundwork, it builds a dark brown autumn-soil surface with uneven, cracked-earth character. It supplies physical relief as well as colour where a flat painted base would not reproduce the required ground texture.

What's the difference between a paint and a wash?

Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.

Can I use these paints in an airbrush?

Many acrylics can be thinned for airbrushing — check the product description; ranges marked "Air" or "airbrush-ready" work straight from the bottle.

Do I need a primer?

Yes for bare plastic, resin or metal — primer gives paint a surface to grip and prevents chipping.
