Product overview

KRMA017 is the complete ten-colour Serie 1 collection of dry weathering pigments. The box spans grey, earth, sand, dirt, rust, brick and soot tones, giving the modeller every powder included in the original line rather than a selected subset. It provides the entire Serie 1 palette in one set.

Ash Grey, Pale Earth, Dark Sand, Concrete Grey and Dark Dirt are included.
The remaining colours are Orange Rust, Red Rust, Brick Dust, Dark Earth and Soot Black.
Every pot contains approximately 30 g of fine, non-toxic pigment made from natural ingredients.

What's the difference between a paint and a wash?

Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.

Can I use these paints in an airbrush?

Many acrylics can be thinned for airbrushing — check the product description; ranges marked "Air" or "airbrush-ready" work straight from the bottle.

Do I need a primer?

Yes for bare plastic, resin or metal — primer gives paint a surface to grip and prevents chipping.
