KRMA036 Chaos Wasteland is loose static grass in a very dark, near-black colour for miniature bases and terrain. The 2–2.5 mm fibres create short vegetation with a scorched, barren appearance, distinguishing it from conventional green grass materials. It can be applied as continuous ground cover or in isolated patches where the scene calls for burnt grass, dead growth or similarly bleak groundwork.

What do tuft sizes like 2mm, 4mm and 6mm mean?

That's the grass fibre length. 2mm suits small bases and subtle ground cover, 4–6mm reads as fuller vegetation on 28–32mm miniature bases.

Are tufts self-adhesive?

Most modern tufts peel off their sheet with adhesive on the underside — press onto the base, no glue needed. Loose static grass is applied over PVA instead.

How do I apply static grass?

Brush PVA where you want grass, sprinkle or use an applicator, then tip off the excess once dry. An applicator makes fibres stand upright for a more natural look.
