A four-brush synthetic drybrushing set for adding texture, highlights, and worn effects on models, miniatures, and scenery.
What makes this brush special
The set should feel sturdy, textured, and purpose-built for rougher use. Synthetic dry brushes are usually designed with resilience in mind, since the technique relies on controlled friction rather than a sharp point. Handles are likely short and comfortable for close model work. The overall impression should be practical and efficient, with the set aimed at painters who want fast, repeatable texture effects.
Medium compatibility
Best with properly thinned acrylics, especially for detail and glazing.
Works well with fluid hobby acrylics for detail, layering and controlled basecoating.

How to care for your brush
Drybrushes are easier to maintain than precision brushes, but they still need basic care. After use, remove paint thoroughly and wash the fibres with warm water and mild soap if required. Because drybrushing can be rough on the brush head, reshape the bristles gently and let them dry flat or upright. Synthetic fibres are ideal here because they are more durable and forgiving than natural hair. Do not leave the brushes clogged with dried paint, since that will reduce their texture and effectiveness. Store them separately from your good detail brushes so they remain a dedicated effect tool rather than a general-purpose brush.
