Product overview

AK11252 provides an ultra matt acrylic finish for scale models. Its water-soluble formula may be applied with either a conventional brush or an airbrush, allowing the same varnish to be used across different surface types. The coating is intended to leave a deliberately low-sheen final surface without introducing a separate solvent-based medium.

The bottle contains 100 ml of acrylic varnish.
The formula is odourless and non-toxic.
Shake thoroughly before application.
Complete drying takes 12 hours.

What's the difference between a paint and a wash?

Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.

Can I use these paints in an airbrush?
