A satin sheen is the defining result of AK191 Satin Varnish, supplied as 60 ml of acrylic auxiliary liquid. It is odourless, non-toxic and water-soluble, and its formulation supports controlled airbrush application as well as conventional brushing. Complete drying takes 12 hours, so that interval should be allowed before proceeding with later work.
Cover the selected surface using either spraying equipment or a brush.
Redistribute the contents by shaking immediately before use.
Select AK712 Acrylic Thinner if the varnish needs reducing.
The cured coating retains the product's specified satin finish.

Notes · Q & A
What's the difference between a paint and a wash?+
Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.
Can I use these paints in an airbrush?+
Many acrylics can be thinned for airbrushing — check the product description; ranges marked "Air" or "airbrush-ready" work straight from the bottle.
Do I need a primer?+
Yes for bare plastic, resin or metal — primer gives paint a surface to grip and prevents chipping.
