Abteilung 502 Dust is an artist oil paint from AK Interactive's ABT 502 range — a pale, dusty earth tone made for weathering. AK describes it as a versatile colour that reproduces the subtle look of accumulated dust across any modelling theme, and one that mixes readily with other colours to build a range of earthy tones. Used thin over a finished surface it settles a soft, faded film of dust; mixed and blended it shifts other tones toward a worn, outdoor look. As an oil it stays open for blending and thins and cleans with white spirit. Abteilung's reduced-oil formula gives a more matte finish. Supplied in a 20 ml tube.
