Ideal for Sci-Fi, electronic components, historical figures, and all manner of details. Realistically replicate the bright appearance of Gold on any subject. Acrylic Metal Colors are formulated for maximum performance with both brush and airbrush. 17ml jar. Water soluble, odorless, and non-toxic. Each jar includes a stainless steel agitator to facilitate mixing, shake well before each use. We recommend A.MIG-2000 Acrylic Thinner for proper thinning. Dries completely within 24 hours.

What's the difference between a paint and a wash?

Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.

Can I use these paints in an airbrush?

Many acrylics can be thinned for airbrushing — check the product description; ranges marked "Air" or "airbrush-ready" work straight from the bottle.

Do I need a primer?

Yes for bare plastic, resin or metal — primer gives paint a surface to grip and prevents chipping.
