Vallejo Rough White Pumice is a heavy acrylic texture paste combining resin, titanium white and natural pumice. The 200 ml pot delivers a dense, bright white surface with a rough grain that takes paint and washes well. Its white tone makes it a practical starting point for snow-covered ground, limestone outcrops or any terrain that will be painted to a lighter palette. Like the rest of the Stone Textures range, it can be built up in layers for tall relief, thinned with water for a smoother finish, or mixed with Gel Base for added flexibility.

What's the difference between a paint and a wash?

Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.

Can I use these paints in an airbrush?

Many acrylics can be thinned for airbrushing — check the product description; ranges marked "Air" or "airbrush-ready" work straight from the bottle.

Do I need a primer?

Yes for bare plastic, resin or metal — primer gives paint a surface to grip and prevents chipping.
