Product overview
Vallejo Liquid Metal Red Gold combines a red-gold metallic shade with the alcohol-based formulation used throughout the Liquid Metal range. Designed for miniature and scale-model painting, it dries quickly and leaves a high-gloss metallic finish. It can also be mixed with other Liquid Metal colours to modify the final metallic shade.
- Dilute with isopropyl alcohol only, never water.
- Use isopropyl alcohol for cleaning brushes and airbrush equipment.
- Supplied in a 35 ml glass jar with a safety cap.
- Highly flammable; use only with suitable ventilation.

What's the difference between a paint and a wash?
Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.
Can I use these paints in an airbrush?
Many acrylics can be thinned for airbrushing — check the product description; ranges marked "Air" or "airbrush-ready" work straight from the bottle.
Do I need a primer?
Yes for bare plastic, resin or metal — primer gives paint a surface to grip and prevents chipping.
