Product overview
Twelve metal colours make up the whole Kaleido Metal series, and this set has every one of them: KM001 Zirconium Black, KM002 Gun Metal, KM003 Tungsten Steel, KM004 Titanium Alloy, KM005 Stainless Steel, KM006 Silver, KM007 Aluminium, KM008 Red Copper, KM009 Copper, KM010 Scorched Gold, KM011 Champagne Gold and KM012 Flashy Gold. Each is a 20ml bottle of water-based acrylic built with fine metallic particles. Small bottles of thinner and airbrush cleaner, 20ml each, complete the box, so you have all you need for the first session at the airbrush.
- KM001 to KM012, the full metal range in 20ml bottles
- Also in the box: 20ml thinner and 20ml airbrush cleaner
- Pre-thinned to spray through a 0.3mm needle at 10 PSI and up
- Bonds to plastic, resin, metal and glass without primer
- Shake well first, the metallic pigment settles in storage
Notes · Q & A
What nozzle size do I need for miniatures?
0.3mm is the versatile all-rounder for base coats and priming; 0.2mm suits fine detail work. Larger nozzles (0.5mm) are for terrain and big surfaces.
Do I need a compressor with a tank?
A tank smooths the airflow and reduces pulsing, giving more consistent results — worth it if you spray regularly, but tankless compressors work fine for occasional use.
How do I keep an airbrush working well?
Flush with airbrush cleaner between colours and strip-clean after each session. Most spraying problems are cleaning problems.
