Product Description
The N5 needle (IWN-0752 / N0752) is the original 0.5mm fluid needle for the Neo for Iwata BCN siphon-feed airbrush. It controls paint flow through the airbrush body and works in conjunction with the N5 nozzle (N0802) and needle packing assembly.
Iwata manufactures this needle from precision-ground stainless steel with a consistently finished taper — this is what gives the Neo BCN its reliable, even spray pattern straight out of the box. If your original needle has been bent, nicked, or worn down, this is the part that brings your airbrush back to life.
At 0.5mm, this is the standard needle size for the Neo BCN — suited to basecoating, priming, varnishing, and general-purpose spraying across miniatures, scale models, terrain, and more.

What's in the Box
1 × Iwata N5 Fluid Needle 0.5mm (IWN-0752) in original Iwata packaging.
Compatibility
✔ Fits: Neo for Iwata BCN (siphon-feed airbrush)
✘ Does NOT fit: Neo CN (gravity-feed), Neo TRN1, Neo TRN2, Eclipse, Revolution, Hi-Line, Custom Micron, or any other Iwata series
Pairs with: N5 Nozzle (N0802) — if your needle was bent, it's worth checking your nozzle too. A bent needle can deform the nozzle opening over time.
Pro Tips — Getting the Most from Your New Needle
Check your nozzle too. If your old needle was bent, it may have worn the nozzle into an oval shape. Replacing both the needle and nozzle together is the most reliable way to restore a clean spray pattern.
Inspect the needle packing. While you have the airbrush open, check the needle packing (seal) — if it's dry or worn, apply a tiny amount of airbrush lubricant or glycerine to keep things smooth.
Never clean from the front. Always pull the needle out from the back for cleaning. Pushing anything into the nozzle end risks bending the tip — the most common cause of needle damage.
Don't try to straighten a bent needle. Even a micro-bend that looks "fixed" will gradually damage your nozzle and produce inconsistent spray. Fresh needle = fresh start.
Worth Knowing
This needle fits the Neo BCN only — it is not a universal Iwata needle. Double-check your airbrush model before ordering.
A new needle alone won't fix all spray problems. If your nozzle is damaged, the needle packing is worn, or the paint channel is clogged, those issues need addressing separately.
Like all precision airbrush needles, the tip is delicate. Dropping the airbrush, cleaning from the nozzle end, or leaving it uncapped are the most common ways to damage it.
Ideal For
✦ Miniature painters — basecoats, priming, zenithal highlights, vehicles & large creatures
✦ Scale modellers — aircraft, armour, automotive in 1/72 to 1/20
✦ Terrain builders — large surface coverage on boards, buildings, and scenic pieces
✦ General hobby airbrushing — varnishing, priming, and everyday spraying tasks
