Product overview

Flaming Splash Gel Set 11287 contains four 30 ml fluorescent, semi-transparent acrylic gels for modelling fire and energy effects. Red, yellow and orange can be combined across flames, magma and burning surfaces, while green provides an alternative for magical energy or unnatural fire. The gels are intended for miniatures, vehicles, bases, scenery and dioramas and dry clear in approximately 24 hours.

  • Includes 3155 Flaming Red, 3154 Flaming Yellow, 3153 Flaming Orange and 3156 Flaming Green.
  • Each fluorescent splash gel is supplied in a 30 ml jar.
  • The gels may be diluted with water or acrylic thinner to improve fluidity.
  • Approximate drying time is 24 hours.

What's the difference between a paint and a wash?

Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.

Can I use these paints in an airbrush?
