Spikey Beige brings light-beige, branched growth to dry Mediterranean shrubland settings. Its tall profile forms dense, thorny-looking patches associated with broom and gorse scrub, giving the vegetation a distinct upper layer rather than another low covering. The coloured tufts come together on one printed sheet, with roughly 70 varied forms available for individual placement.
The Spikey form is built from dense, ramified branch shapes.
A pair of tweezers keeps the lift controlled as each tuft leaves the sheet.
Where the fix has to hold permanently, add a little PVA underneath.
Pairing other sizes and colours can build varied shrubland height and plant layers.

Notes · Q & A
What do tuft sizes like 2mm, 4mm and 6mm mean?+
That's the grass fibre length. 2mm suits small bases and subtle ground cover, 4–6mm reads as fuller vegetation on 28–32mm miniature bases.
Are tufts self-adhesive?+
Most modern tufts peel off their sheet with adhesive on the underside — press onto the base, no glue needed. Loose static grass is applied over PVA instead.
How do I apply static grass?+
Brush PVA where you want grass, sprinkle or use an applicator, then tip off the excess once dry. An applicator makes fibres stand upright for a more natural look.
