Product overview

Light Brown 6 mm Wild combines dark brown and beige in one colour blend for landscapes with limited vegetation. It covers dry, arid grasslands where growth is sparse, together with low shrubland and the thin plant cover that goes with it. Combine it with greenish colours and with others from the dry group to broaden the palette across bases and scenes, which is where the colour gains realism and variance. Light Brown is produced at 6 mm alone, so the choice within the colour is between this Wild sheet and its Small counterpart.

  • The Wild format provides roughly 70 tufts, equal to the listed totals for comparable sheets at 4 mm and 5 mm.
  • You can choose the same Light Brown colour and 6 mm height in Small format with around 144 tufts.
  • A tuft comes off the sheet on its own and goes straight onto the model.

What do tuft sizes like 2mm, 4mm and 6mm mean?

That's the grass fibre length. 2mm suits small bases and subtle ground cover, 4–6mm reads as fuller vegetation on 28–32mm miniature bases.

Are tufts self-adhesive?

Most modern tufts peel off their sheet with adhesive on the underside — press onto the base, no glue needed. Loose static grass is applied over PVA instead.

How do I apply static grass?

Brush PVA where you want grass, sprinkle or use an applicator, then tip off the excess once dry. An applicator makes fibres stand upright for a more natural look.
