Bracken is the everyday green fern: a plant widespread through temperate and subtropical country in both hemispheres, which makes it the fern for almost any earth-like scene rather than a particular one. Open the blister and you have one printed sheet holding 22 leaves, shaped and coloured in advance, their size and their green varying from piece to piece.
The autumn form of the same fern is sold as Dry Bracken, and the two are meant to be mixed in a single stand.
Because it grows across both hemispheres, it does not tie a scene to any one region.
Freeing a leaf and gluing it in place is the whole job; nothing needs painting or trimming.

Notes · Q & A
What do tuft sizes like 2mm, 4mm and 6mm mean?+
That's the grass fibre length. 2mm suits small bases and subtle ground cover, 4–6mm reads as fuller vegetation on 28–32mm miniature bases.
Are tufts self-adhesive?+
Most modern tufts peel off their sheet with adhesive on the underside — press onto the base, no glue needed. Loose static grass is applied over PVA instead.
How do I apply static grass?+
Brush PVA where you want grass, sprinkle or use an applicator, then tip off the excess once dry. An applicator makes fibres stand upright for a more natural look.
