Product overview

Alien Rosette works close to the ground. Its leaves spread from a central point, so the finished plant sits around a model's feet rather than standing up beside it — it is the one alien sheet of ours that grows flat rather than upright. The rosettes come attached to a single sheet, cut and coloured ready to use. Detach a rosette and glue it to terrain, to a diorama or to a miniature base.

  • The sheet holds 47 leaf groups, varying in size and colour.
  • Strong texture and a vivid palette give the foliage its glowing, extraterrestrial look.
  • Verbascum, whose leaves form a flat basal rosette, is the earthly reference for the shape.

What do tuft sizes like 2mm, 4mm and 6mm mean?

That's the grass fibre length. 2mm suits small bases and subtle ground cover, 4–6mm reads as fuller vegetation on 28–32mm miniature bases.

Are tufts self-adhesive?

Most modern tufts peel off their sheet with adhesive on the underside — press onto the base, no glue needed. Loose static grass is applied over PVA instead.

How do I apply static grass?

Brush PVA where you want grass, sprinkle or use an applicator, then tip off the excess once dry. An applicator makes fibres stand upright for a more natural look.
