Product overview

Garnet Tulip takes its colour from the Dutch Bollenstreek, where tulip fields lay strips of strong red into the patchwork of the countryside. What you get is that strip rather than a single bloom: around 370 tufts on one printed sheet, coloured in advance, their shapes and sizes varying down the strip, so a bulb field can be built up band by band.

  • One deep garnet red runs across the whole sheet.
  • These flowers belong to Tulipa spp.
  • Take each tuft off the sheet with tweezers for control, and set it with a dab of PVA when the placement is final.

What do tuft sizes like 2mm, 4mm and 6mm mean?

That's the grass fibre length. 2mm suits small bases and subtle ground cover, 4–6mm reads as fuller vegetation on 28–32mm miniature bases.

Are tufts self-adhesive?

Most modern tufts peel off their sheet with adhesive on the underside — press onto the base, no glue needed. Loose static grass is applied over PVA instead.

How do I apply static grass?

Brush PVA where you want grass, sprinkle or use an applicator, then tip off the excess once dry. An applicator makes fibres stand upright for a more natural look.
