Dry Tuft 6 mm Small carries a brownish-yellow colouring across the whole tuft, and it is the higher-count sheet of the two Dry Tuft formats made at this height. Semi-desert plains and mountain cliffs are among the dry, arid settings it is made for, the sort of ground where growth stays scarce. Set other greenish colours alongside it and the same tuft also belongs in dense prairie and steppe, and under woodland where the plant cover is fuller — that is the one pairing he suggests for it.
You receive around 144 tufts as Small, equal to the largest approximate quantity listed across our sheets.
The corresponding Wild option carries around 70 tufts in this 6 mm Dry Tuft colour.
A separate Dry Tuft XL sheet extends the colour to 12 mm in Wild XL format with around 36 larger pieces.
Every tuft comes away as a separate piece and is usable as supplied.

Notes · Q & A
What do tuft sizes like 2mm, 4mm and 6mm mean?+
That's the grass fibre length. 2mm suits small bases and subtle ground cover, 4–6mm reads as fuller vegetation on 28–32mm miniature bases.
Are tufts self-adhesive?+
Most modern tufts peel off their sheet with adhesive on the underside — press onto the base, no glue needed. Loose static grass is applied over PVA instead.
How do I apply static grass?+
Brush PVA where you want grass, sprinkle or use an applicator, then tip off the excess once dry. An applicator makes fibres stand upright for a more natural look.
