Ten metallic markers from Gaahleri's Metallic Series: Aluminium, Stainless Steel, Dark Steel, Dark Iron, Gun Metal, Zirconium Black, Red Copper, Dark Gold, Scorched Gold and Flashy Gold. Instead of a sponge or flat-head nib, each one has a valve-type round tip imported from Japan, which keeps the ink flowing evenly, leaves fewer visible strokes and sheds no sponge fibres into the finish. The ink stays inside the marker until you start it: take the cap off and press the tip against any surface. Until then it cannot dry out. Caps and labels carry each marker's colour, so you pick the right one at a glance on Gunpla, car models, scale models or a diorama.

Notes · Q & A
What nozzle size do I need for miniatures?+
0.3mm is the versatile all-rounder for base coats and priming; 0.2mm suits fine detail work. Larger nozzles (0.5mm) are for terrain and big surfaces.
Do I need a compressor with a tank?+
A tank smooths the airflow and reduces pulsing, giving more consistent results — worth it if you spray regularly, but tankless compressors work fine for occasional use.
How do I keep an airbrush working well?+
Flush with airbrush cleaner between colours and strip-clean after each session. Most spraying problems are cleaning problems.
