DSPIAE ZPB push broach bits are tungsten steel bits for scribing panel lines into ABS, PS, PE, resin and 3D printed parts. Most broach bits have a trapezoid cutting end, so the line widens each time you go over it. The ZPB is ground to a true 90° straight edge, so repeated passes keep the line the same width. Tolerance is under 0.003 mm; the bits are mirror polished and the edge treated against chipping. Each bit comes in a coloured storage case that doubles as a short handle; for longer work, fit it in a 3.175 mm holder, sold separately.

Sprue cutters or a hobby knife — what do I actually need?

Cutters remove parts from the sprue cleanly; the knife trims the leftover nub and mould lines. You'll want both — they do different jobs.

What's the difference between single-blade and double-blade cutters?

Single-blade cutters shear against a flat anvil for an ultra-clean cut with less stress on the plastic; double-blade cutters are tougher for general work.

How do I keep tools in good condition?

Cut plastic only (never metal sprues or wire) with precision cutters, replace knife blades often, and keep files clear with a brass brush.
