Product overview

The DSPIAE MS-02 is a mains-only bench appliance that oscillates a paint bottle standing on its silicone pallet; it contains no battery. Its retail box calls the same tool a “Vibrating Paint Stirrer”, whereas the other product panels use oscillating stirrer. A brushless motor drives the pallet at three selectable settings, with an ABS shell enclosing the mechanism and an aluminium-alloy pedestal supporting the bottle.

  • Its three speed settings are 2700, 3000 and 3200 rpm.
  • The base occupies a 120.5 × 124 mm footprint on the bench.
  • Connect the Type-C lead to a CE-marked 5 V supply rated for 3 A or more.
  • A computer USB port must not be used as the power source.

Sprue cutters or a hobby knife — what do I actually need?

Cutters remove parts from the sprue cleanly; the knife trims the leftover nub and mould lines. You'll want both — they do different jobs.

What's the difference between single-blade and double-blade cutters?

Single-blade cutters shear against a flat anvil for an ultra-clean cut with less stress on the plastic; double-blade cutters are tougher for general work.

How do I keep tools in good condition?

Cut plastic only (never metal sprues or wire) with precision cutters, replace knife blades often, and keep files clear with a brass brush.
