MP-03 refills the palette paper of the DSPIAE MP-01 wet palette: 50 sheets of the top layer you mix on. DSPIAE makes it from a PET film bonded to a paper backing that draws water up from the guiding paper below. Lay it shiny side up, flat on the wet guiding paper with no air bubbles; the edges may curl at first and flatten once soaked. DSPIAE designs each sheet for one session, so start with a fresh sheet each time.

Sprue cutters or a hobby knife — what do I actually need?

Cutters remove parts from the sprue cleanly; the knife trims the leftover nub and mould lines. You'll want both — they do different jobs.

What's the difference between single-blade and double-blade cutters?

Single-blade cutters shear against a flat anvil for an ultra-clean cut with less stress on the plastic; double-blade cutters are tougher for general work.

How do I keep tools in good condition?

Cut plastic only (never metal sprues or wire) with precision cutters, replace knife blades often, and keep files clear with a brass brush.
