About This Product

The Apoxie Sculpt Colour Tray is a pre-packed mixing kit containing four Apoxie Sculpt colours selected to work together as a palette. Instead of buying four separate tubs, you get a single tray with measured portions of each colour — ready to mix, blend, and sculpt.

This is the Primary palette, curated for chromatic colour mixing. Every colour in the tray is genuine Apoxie Sculpt — same formula, same 1:1 mix ratio, same 24-hour cure. Mix any Part A colours together to create custom shades, then add equal Part B to activate.

What's in the Primary Tray?

Red

Warm base for oranges, purples, skin tones, and rust effects.

Yellow

Bright base for oranges, greens, golds, and warm highlights.

Green

For foliage, moss, alien skin, verdigris, and natural tones.

Blue

Cool base for teals, purples, ice effects, and water features.

Who Is This For?

Sculptors who want colour built in — match skin tones, fabric colours, or surface finishes directly in the sculpting material.

Model horse and figure artists — blend precise skin, hair, and clothing colours from primary bases.

Mosaic and mixed-media creators — create small, consistent batches of custom-coloured epoxy for tiles, inlays, and decorative work.

Anyone exploring colour mixing — four primaries in one kit is a great way to learn how Apoxie Sculpt colours blend.

What Can You Mix?

RECIPE Orange — Red + Yellow.

RECIPE Purple / violet — Red + Blue.

RECIPE Teal / turquoise — Blue + Green.

RECIPE Olive / khaki — Green + Yellow + a touch of Red.

RECIPE Warm brown — Red + Green (complementary mix).

RECIPE Pastel tones — add any primary to White or Super White Apoxie (sold separately).

Why Hobbyists Love Apoxie Sculpt

Tips from the Hobby Community

Mix Part A colours thoroughly — streaks will show through the cured material if colours aren't fully blended before adding Part B.

Add White to lighten — the primaries are quite saturated. Mix in White or Super White Apoxie (sold separately) to create pastels and lighter tints.

Start with small amounts — it's easier to add more of a colour than to correct an over-mixed batch.

Wear nitrile gloves — coloured epoxy compounds can leave pigment on skin and surfaces.

Store sealed and cool — keep the tray sealed between sessions for maximum shelf life.

Which Colour Tray Do You Need?

Primary (this kit)

Chromatic colours — reds, oranges, greens, blues, purples, teals. Ideal for figure work, skin tones, colourful terrain, mosaic, and decorative sculpting.

Neutral

Greys, browns, and stone tones. Ideal for rocky terrain, concrete, urban scenery, and muted earth effects.

Earth

Warm tones — sand, terracotta, rust, skin, desert. The go-to for warm terrain and organic sculpting.

Use multiple trays together

Primary + Neutral gives you chromatic colours plus Black and White for darkening and lightening — the widest possible range.

Good to Know

No White or Black included. To lighten or darken these primaries, you'll need White, Black, or Super White from separate tubs or the Neutral tray.

Small portions per colour. Each colour is approximately 46 g (1/10 lb). If you need large amounts, a dedicated 454 g (1 lb) tub is more practical.

It cures rigid. If you need a flexible end result, Green Stuff or a flexible putty is a better choice.

Wear gloves. Nitrile gloves are recommended, especially when handling saturated pigments.
