AK11801 places WWI German Fokker Grey in the 3rd-Generation Air acrylic range, replacing the former AK2271 reference. The dark olive-grey colour is matched to FS 34159 and is intended for historic aircraft modelling. Its formulation supports brush and airbrush application, while dilution is designed to reduce the nozzle clogging associated with spraying acrylic colour.

The acrylic formula is non-toxic and highly pigmented.
Its published Federal Standard reference is FS 34159.
The previous AK colour reference was AK2271.
The cap is designed to provide a quick visual indication of the paint colour.
