AK Interactive Real Colors WWII German Tank Interior Colors contains four lacquer paints for the internal surfaces of German Army armoured vehicles during the Second World War. Elfenbein and Hellgrau cover the principal light interior tones, while RAL 8012 and RAL 8013 provide two distinct red-brown primer colours. The set is intended for fighting compartments, internal panels and exposed primed areas across German tank and AFV subjects.

What's the difference between a paint and a wash?

Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.

Can I use these paints in an airbrush?

Many acrylics can be thinned for airbrushing — check the product description; ranges marked "Air" or "airbrush-ready" work straight from the bottle.

Do I need a primer?

Yes for bare plastic, resin or metal — primer gives paint a surface to grip and prevents chipping.
